2 BARUCH: apocalypse
THE BOOK OF THE APOCALYPSE OF BARUCH THE SON OF NERIAH.
Baruch confirms Islam as the end-time antichrist, same as we read in Revelation 17:10-11!
Baruch was a scribe of Jeremiah during the Babylonian captivity. And also were Daniel and Ezra.

36—37. The Vision of the Forest, the Vine, the Fountain and the Cedar
36 1 And when I had said these things I fell asleep there, and I saw a vision in the night. 2 And lo! a forest of trees planted on the plain, and lofty and rugged rocky mountains surrounded it, and that forest occupied much space. 3 And lo! over against it arose a vine, and from under it there went forth a fountain peacefully. 4 Now that fountain came to the forest and was (stirred) into great waves, and those waves submerged that forest, and suddenly they rooted out the greater part of that forest, and overthrew all the mountains which were round about it. 5 And the height of the forest began to be made low, and the top of the mountains was made low and that fountain prevailed greatly, so that it left nothing of that great forest save one cedar only. 6 Also when it had cast it down and had destroyed and rooted out the greater part of that forest, so that nothing was left of it, nor could its place be recognized, then that vine began to come with the fountain in peace and great tranquility, and it came to a place which was not far from that cedar, and they brought the cedar which had been cast down to it. 7 And I beheld and lo! that vine opened its mouth and spoke and said to that cedar: Art you not that cedar which was left of the forest of wickedness, and by whose means wickedness persisted, and was wrought all those years, and goodness never. 8 And you kept conquering that which was not yours, and to that which was your you did never show compassion, and you did keep extending your power over those who were far from you, and those who drew near you, you did hold fast in the toils of your wickedness, and you did uplift thyself always as one that could not be rooted out! 9 But now your time has sped and your hour is come. 10 Do you also therefore depart, O cedar, after the forest, which departed before you, and become dust with it, and let your ashes be mingled together. 11 And now recline in anguish and rest in torment till your last time come, in which you will come again, and be tormented still more.'
37 And after these things I saw that cedar burning, and the vine growing, itself and all around it, the plain full of unfading flowers. And I indeed awoke and arose.
First a note about the empires before explanation of the vision:
Which empire or current political-religious system did God refer to as being the evil and responsible one with the arise of the antichrist?
We got seven empires throughout history or 7 mountains ruled by kings according to Revelation 17:10-11: five are fallen and one is, Rome is when this vision was revealed, a seventh will come (Ottoman) but also an eighth coming out of the seven and actually is the seventh: Of course: ‘coming out of the seven’, because most parts of the Middle East always made part of all previous empires, in this case also the Eastern part of the Roman Empire including N. Africa, but not Western Rome itself, right!
Seven mountains ruled by kings: mountains can’t be ruled by kings, only empires:
1 Egypt
2 Assyria
3 Babylon
4 Persia
5 Greece
6 Rome
7 Ottoman
8 ? Wil arise out of the seven as Revelation tells us for the 6th ‘is’ at that same time Revelation was written Rome still ruled and called as the one that ‘ is’. The 8th and last one comes out of the seven and is the seventh! Why out of the seven? Because the Middle East or major parts always made part of all previous and great empires before itself, and the 7th appoints the name of the 8th!
I was right assuming the Ottoman empire will rise again as being the empire of the antichrist after history states that the people who destroyed the Temple in 70 AD were major Arab soldiers (current Islamic people) of the 10th legion under command of Titus, who ruled over the Eastern part of the Roman empire! It is definitely islam, or as we know today as being the most evil economic-politic and religious presence on earth who has only one purpose: to rule the world! When we see today how Islamic culture infiltrates into the West or rather globally, then we can assume that this superior system - or at least they assume being superior to all other convictions - will suppress and rule the world in the near future with allied world leaders, but this will not occur tomorrow or within a decade or two, but will surely escalate in the far future, i.e. before current age ends. More about the ages!
Why the Ottoman Empire and not Rome as many claims? Because Baruch tells us something else about whom the eighth empire ‘with no name in Revelation’ will be! First: It’s the 4th after Babylon and second: scholar's big mistake is not knowing that ancient Rome was parted in West and Eastern Rome! God is talking about the Eastern part not the Western, although Vatican is a catholic system but still believes in the Son of God, and islam doesn’t.
In Quran we read that God has no son, far from!;
Sahih International: And say, "Praise to Allah, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."
Muhammad Sarwar: Say, "It is only God who deserves all praise. He has not begotten a son and has no partner in His Kingdom. He does not need any guardian to help Him in His need. Proclaim His greatness.”
4:171 (Asad): “O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God.”
Bible tells us:
1 John 2:22: “Who is the liar, if it is not the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son can have the Father; whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well. 24As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you. If it does, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father.…”
Islam clearly deny the Son of God!
Now read very carefully which empire is appointed by God as being the evil one who tried to hide every truth until present day! Who is the one who denies the Son? Indeed, only islam does, not the catholic Vatican!
Read the interpretation of the Vision:

38—40. Interpretation of the Vision
38 1 And I prayed and said: 'O LORD, my Lord, you do always enlighten those who are led by understanding. 2 Your law is life, and Your wisdom is right guidance. 3 Make known to me therefore the interpretation of this vision. 4 For you know that my soul hath always walked in Your law, and from my (earliest) days I departed not from Your wisdom.'
39: 1 And He answered and said unto me: 'Baruch, this is the interpretation of the vision which you have seen. 2 As you have seen the great forest which lofty and rugged mountains surrounded, this is the word. 3 Behold! the days come, and this kingdom (Babylon) will be destroyed which once destroyed Zion, and it will be subjected to that which comes after it (Persia). 4 Moreover, that also again after a time will be destroyed (by Greece), and another, a third, will arise, and that also will have dominion for its time, and will be destroyed (Rome). 5 And after these things a fourth kingdom (Ottoman or 4th after Babylon) will arise, whose power will be harsh and evil far beyond those which were before it, and it will rule many times as the forests on the plain, and it will hold fast for times, and will exalt itself more than the cedars of Lebanon. 6 And by it the truth will be hidden, and all those who are polluted with iniquity will flee to it, as evil beasts flee and creep into the forest. 7 And it will come to pass when the time of its consummation that it should fall has approached, then the principate of My Messiah will be revealed, which is like the fountain and the vine, and when it is revealed it will root out the multitude of its host. 8 And as touching that which you have seen, the lofty cedar, which was left of that forest, and the fact, that the vine spoke those words with it which you did hear, this is the word.
(Principate: from princeps, ‘the leading man’, a system of monarchy - kingdom - headed by an emperor holding power for life.)
40: 1 The last leader of that time will be left alive (antichrist), when the multitude of his hosts will be put to the sword, and he will be bound, and they will take him up to Mount Zion, and My Messiah will convict him of all his impieties, and will gather and set before him all the works of his hosts. 2 And afterwards he will put him to death, and protect the rest of My people which shall be found in the place which I have chosen. 3 And his principate will stand for ever, until the world of corruption is at an end, and until the times aforesaid are fulfilled. 4 This is your vision, and this is its interpretation.'
This means that the renewal of all things will occur after Christ’s reign as 2 Esdras also states!
"The last leader of that time will be left alive"?! This is not present day, but somewhere in the future before the Age ends about 2100/2160 AD! Confirmed by 2 Esdras chapt 7, 13 and 14.
What must we do to comprehend all things to know the truth: to Investigate scripture by scripture, not only bible by bible texts! And remember that bible is a catholic composition made by man!
