-The Day of Atonement is the central holy day in the autumn season of Tabernacles.

-Who represents Israel in God’s eyes?

I believe, which also would be logic, that rapture will occur on Atonement (Yom Kippur) not on the feast of Trumpets, for also before the Day of Atonement the trumpets first blast, which makes Atonement a more possible rapture day.

Isaiah 27:12-13: “12And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel. 13And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.”

Trumpets falls on the first day of Tishri (the seventh month)

Trumpets blast for the people to prepare for Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement.

The ten days from Trumpets to the Day of Atonement are known as "the days of awe" and the people consider very carefully what sins will be held against them when GOD reckons up. Jewish tradition says that on this day GOD enters the righteous in the book of life and the wicked in the book of death.  For those in between, the verdict remains open until Yom Kippur.  Incidentally, Trumpets falls when the zodiac sign is the scales.

Yom Kippur falls on the tenth of Tishri, following the ten Days of Awe that were instituted by the blowing of Trumpets.

Possible thought:

Yom Kippur: Day of Atonement: rapture?
Sukkot: feast of Tabernacles: preparations/gathering?
Shmini Atzeret: Eighth Day of Assembly: Wedding?

The Day of Atonement is the central holy day in the autumn season of Tabernacles. It is the most solemn day of the year. It was instituted in Leviticus 16 see also Lev 23 v26-32 and Num 29 v7.

The people had to be prepared for Yom Kippur as it was the day of national cleansing and repentance and is also known to the Jews as the Day of Judgment.

(Each Jubilee year (release of captives) started on Yom Kippur.)

(See Lev 25 v8-54 & Is 61 v1-2 which Yeshua quoted in Luke 4 v16-19) )

Lev 25: 8: “And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 9Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. 10And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. 11A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. 12For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.”

For who are the Israel of God?

Only someone who is considered holy and without blemish nor any spot can appear before God's throne and sit there like Yeshua, or the Holy Spirit, or Archangels, but not necessarily or immediately the elect. The elect are found holy enough to sit near Yeshua's Throne and reign with Him. The elect serve before God's Throne, but sit before Yeshua's Throne!

Rev 3:21 “To the one who is victorious, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Let's consider this for a moment as it is written:

From 'The Gospel of the Twelve':

Lection 46

: The Transfiguration on the Mount.

The Giving of the Law:

..

"7 AND I Jesus said unto them, Behold a new law I give unto you, which is not new but old. Even as Moses gave the Ten Commandments to Israel after the flesh, so also I give unto you the Twelve for the Kingdom of Israel after the Spirit."

8. "For who are the Israel of God? Even they of every nation and tribe who work righteousness, love mercy and keep my commandments, these are the true Israel of God."

...

In bible we read:

Isaiah 56:6:

"Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him."

Malachi 1-10:

..."Oh that there were one among you who would shut the gates, that you might not uselessly kindle fire on My altar! I am not pleased with you," says the LORD of hosts, "nor will I accept an offering from you. 11 For from the rising of the sun even to its setting, My name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense is going to be offered to My name, and a grain offering that is pure; for My name will be great among the nations," says the LORD of hosts."

All those who believe and serve the Lord are called Israel!

And this means: even if you were not born as an Israelite, you too can be an Israelite, cause 'Israel' means 'man of God', no matter your original roots!

This also regards to everyone living outside the nation of Israel.

Now we have a problem saying that tribulations are only given to Israel:

Matt 5:16: "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.…"

If God calls His first chosen people "Israel" and they will face tribulations, it seems very logical that all true believers, the elected, will also be confronted with the same tribulations for they are all called God's Israel!

Shalom,
